Town walk in Undredal
Come for a walk with us in the tiny town of Undredal. Our guide will tell you about how the people lived off the land in the old days. On this walk we also pay a visit to Northern Europes oldest and smallest stave church still in use. The walk takes around an hour.

Guided hike to summer farms
Undredal is surrounded by summer farms - a way of living and surviving in the fjord landscape. Some of the summer farms are still in use today. We offer guided hikes to Nedberge and Stigen Summer farm, both with a dramatic and special history. This adventure takes around 5-8 hours and part of it is a beautiful journey on the fjord. We conclude our day with food, drink and entertainment in Hansaløa.

“A taste of Undredal”

The day starts off with a walk in the wild and untouched nature of Undredal. We visit one of the summer farm and travel part of the way on the Sognefjord - making it easier to understand why this particular part of the world is on the UNESCO world heritage list. The walk also takes us by the tiny, and famous stave church - built in 1147.
The next stop is tasting and learning about “The worlds best cheese” made today in Undredal by local farmers. On this walk we take our time so that you can slow down and feel like you are part of the landscape as much as we Norwegians do. The day is concluded with a three course dinner, storytelling and some local music to set the tone in our “Hansaløa” restaurant - built in 1880.
